Embracing Your Infertility Story with Bravery and Strength
It's official! Embrace Bravery: Embracing Your Infertility Story with Bravery and Strength, is now available!! I'm beyond ready for all you moms-in-waiting to get your hands on my new book! My prayer is that this book will inspire you, give you hope, and teach you to keep believing!
Maybe like me, you've been saying things like:
What's wrong with me?
Am I so defective that I can't have a child?
This isn't how it's supposed to be!
Why is my body failing me?
All I've ever wanted is to be a mom and it's not happening.
How could God who promised me years before that I would have children not be delivering?
How could He be giving everyone else children?
Did You mean it when You promised me?
These thoughts cross our minds leading to doubt, fear, sadness, anger and depression. And every time you see or hear something else the cycle starts over and over again.
Let me assure you, you are not alone in this. These are some of the same thoughts, feelings and cycles I went through for years. The enemy meant to take the brokenness of infertility and push it farther than just infertility, but taking that brokenness to completely break me. The enemies plan was to destroy me completely using the thing that was the biggest desire of my heart against me. But God.
But God had a different plan.
But God had a new story.
But God had more in store for me than I could imagine.
But God still has plans for me that I don't even know about yet.
I want to encourage you, that He's not done with your story yet, either. In my new book, Embrace Bravery, you’ll discover how to embrace your infertility journey with bravery and strength. You'll come to see that God is taking the brokenness of infertility and using it to maximize the bravery and strength He’s already given you. After this journey of infertility you are one of the bravest women out there. From long waits, tests, IUI’s, IVF, and the like, you must continue to fight for your family more than anyone does.
Let this verse wash over you completely. Read it, then reread it and then recite it until you have it memorized. Let this verse resonate with you completely, until there is no room for the enemy to mess with you or your story.
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
– Isaiah 30:18
